Biography: Rosamund Pike is a British actress who began her career on stage but first came to international fame after playing Bond girl Miranda Frost in Die Another Day (2002) alongside Pierce Brosnan. Her career continued into a series of critically acclaimed and commercially successfully works, including performances in Pride and Prejudice (2005) and the David Fincher thriller Gone Girl (2014) opposite Ben Affleck, based on the book by Gillian Flynn and for which she was nominated for an Academy Award.
She has also starred in a variety of British independent films such as An Education (2009) and Made in Dagenham (2010), as well as more mainstream films such as Johnny English Reborn (2011) and Jack Reacher (2012).
More recently, Pike's performance in State of the Union (2019) earned her an Emmy Award and she won a Golden Globe for her role in I Care a Lot (2020). In 2021 she began starring as the protagonist, Moiraine Damodred, in The Wheel of Time series on Amazon.
