A joint team of Ibarapa security operatives, including Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Vigilante, and other groups have arrested the notorious Fulani herdsmen terrorizing Oyo communities, Iskilu Wakili. Wakili who is notorious for killing and kidnapping several people in Ibarapa, Oke Ogun, Oyo State was arrested after several attempts resulting in a gun battle.
Recall that Wakili’s second in command Isiaka Mohammed was recently arrested alongside four others.
Confirming Wakili’s arrest, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Aderemi, said the Fulani warlord was arrested around 7 am on Sunday.

A woman was attacked by a shark and seriously injured while swimming off the coast of southern California this weekend.
Leeanne Ericson, 35, was swimming near San Onofre, known locally as “Church,” just south of San Clemente, when she was attacked at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, according to theWashington Post.
EMT Thomas Williams treated Ericson on the beach Saturday before she was rushed to the hospital, where she was left in a medically induced coma, the Post reported.

Three soldiers lost their lives on Sunday when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a military checkpoint in Gwoza town, Borno state near the border with Cameroon.
In the early morning attack which residents blamed on Boko Haram, three soldiers were also injured.
