The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set up a committee made up of governors elected on its platform, the National Working Committee and the Board of Trustees members as well as former governors to help in selecting Atiku Abubakar’s running mate. The setting up of this committee was confirmed by the spokesperson of the main opposition party, Debo Ologunagba.
It was gathered that the committee met on Wednesday and Thursday in Abuja.

Linda Ikeji reports that the Taiwo of the Oshadipe Twins passed away early hours of today, October 3rd in Lagos. Although full reports about what caused her death are still sketchy as the cause of her death has not been made public.
Taiwo who was married and recently gave birth to her first child last updated her Facebook page on October 1st.
